  • ♦️ the day on which the sun was worshiped (Ezekiel 8:15-16);
  • ♦️ the day after the weekly Sabbath, the first day of the week (Matthew 28:1; Luke 23:56);
  • ♦️ a workday (Ezekiel 46:1; Luke 24:1; Acts 20:13);
  • ♦️ the day to set aside money at home for the poor (1 Corinthians 16:1-2);
  • ♦️ the day for the common meal (Acts 20:7); and
  • ♦️ the day on which Paul addressed the believers, before he would depart (Acts 20:7).
