בָּרוּךְ הַשֵּׁם • Blessed be The Name (of The Lord)!
Discover God’s Appointed Times, the true Biblical Calendar, and the feasts that point directly to Jesus the Messiah.
Though it may seem impossible to know anything with absolute certainty, we are still expected to seek truth and obey, in our understanding, with all of our heart, mind, body and soul.
Our biggest obstacle to discovering the truth is our own cognitive biases. These biases blind us to truths that often become obvious only in hindsight. We tend to cling to the first information we receive, to familiar ideas, and to what is socially acceptable.
For leaders, even the thought of adopting a new teaching that could cost them their audience, congregation, or job can cause their subconscious to fiercely defend their current beliefs rather than accept an inconvenient truth.
God is truth, and He seeks those who humbly submit to Him. The fear of the Lord teaches wisdom, and humility comes before honour. We must first humble ourselves so that our eyes can truly see and our ears can truly hear new wisdom.
What knowledge is more valuable than understanding God's appointed times?
These are the special days He has set apart to meet with mankind. Sacred appointments that serve as shadows pointing us to the true substance of Jesus. Without this knowledge, we are lost. We walk in darkness and stumble because we lack the light of His truth. Even when we observe the Sabbath and the feasts with sincere intentions on the 'popular days', our good intentions done in ignorance are still unintentional sins.
Many attempt to remain ignorant, to avoid knowledge, and trust in God's mercy on the ignorant; however, wilful ignorance leads to destruction.
Sin always has consequences, even if we are ultimately forgiven; therefore, we should seek the Truth in all things and once discovered we should obey the Truth because Jesus is the Truth. Let us not make a habit of practicing lawlessness and always remember this warning from Jesus:
We are not saved by our obedience to His law, but our effort at obeying is the evidence of a renewed heart. Obedience can never repay the debt we owe; however, continued disobedience will continue to defile and wilful, unrepentant disobedience is tantamount to the rejection of Jesus and the Spirit of Grace. It is only by the blood of Jesus and his mercy that we are forgiven and the debt of our sins is paid. Obedience is the visible evidence/proof of genuine saving faith.
Jesus is clear on why He has come; and also directly instructs us to follow His commands.
Jesus has an immutable nature and never changes. Therefore we can accept that if He commanded those who follow Him those commands are still valid for us today.
Let us not waste time, as time isn't promised to anyone.
