⏳ Time (The value of)

♦️Time – the sequence and duration of events as a continuous unit. Time is more important than money. You can get more money, but not more time, and the time is always right to do what is right.

♦️ Time is measurable. The International System of Units measures time in seconds: 1 minute = 60 seconds, and a thousandth of a second – a millisecond. The first atomic clock was built in 1949 and measures the vibrations of an atom.

♦️ Time is writable. The international 24-hour system always writes time in sets of two digits separated by a colon, with midnight as the 00-hour start: 02:45:30 – 2 hours, 45 minutes, and 30 seconds. (Sometimes midnight is indicated as 24:00.)

HOUR

1 hour = 3 600 seconds.

The earth is divided into 24 time zones. The time zones follow the lines of longitude with 15 degrees of longitude separating one hour from another, measured from Greenwich time.
